Newt was designed to be a simple, lightweight New Tab replacement. It gives you easy access to your favorite websites without any of that other clutter or special effects. Your installed Chrome apps are just a swipe (or tap) away.

Newt also lets you completely change the look of the page. You can change any color you see to better suite your tastes. Looking for something bright and crazy? Or maybe something subdued and calm? It’s easy to do with the built-in styler.

Newt uses your a special bookmarks folder to create your new tab page. This makes it very easy to set up. Another benefit to this method is that your categories and websites will be synced to your Google Account*! This means that you only need to set up Newt once and it will be the same (besides color choices) on all your other computers running Chrome*.

* This requires you to be signed into Chrome with your Google Account.
