Add SuperCoder’s Smart Assistant to your browser for a new, convenient approach to finding medical codes and Correct Coding Initiative edits. With Smart Assistant ready-to-go at the top of your browser, you have fast access to the information you need, no matter what website you’re viewing. That means no more changing screens to find a code while reviewing a provider’s notes in your EMR or EHR. And when you need to check CCI edits while filling out a claim, you can get the right answer with fewer clicks. The Smart Assistant even makes reading your favorite coding blogs and professional resources better because you can check codes and edits without having to leave the page. Here’s how it works: Select a code on your page, right click, and choose “Search with SuperCoder” from the menu. Or enter codes or keywords into the Smart Assistant extension’s search box. You’ll see results from the code sets in your SuperCoder online code search subscription, such as CPT® and HCPCS codes and modifiers, and ICD-10-CM codes. In addition to official descriptors, you’ll also see available lay terms and crosswalks. For the CCI Edits Checker, enter multiple codes and your date of service to learn the bundling rules for your code combo.
