Weeve

I really like the concept, but a lot of the translations are wrong. For example, a site said something like "this may be useful" but Weeve translated "may" as the month. I also wish there was a way to set your level, because I would get much more use out of the program if I could choose the difficulty of words. Instead, it seems to default to translating easy words like "you" and "no". It's good at making me think in a different language, but the actual translations are not quite there yet.

Can you please add more languages? I really like the idea of this however am currently learning mandarin and this would be so helpful.

Super easy to set up and use. I work on my computer 9 hours a day, so to be able to seemlessly combine work and language learning is an absolute game changer! Super happy with the experience so far!

Excellent tool to effortlessly blend in language learning into reading you already do. It's help me learn words I actually use on the daily and see often in the news, or other sites I visit. So it definitely has a real life use case and not constantly just phrases like "Where is the train station" etc. The developers are super responsive and adding new things which is also great.

I enjoy learning languages and have tried many tools for doing so over the years. This chrome extension has really impressed me. Super easy to use and you just pick up words without it feeling like a chore.

Pros: Actually for the technical side and language aspect it's really impressed me. So far I'm finding this plug-in for chrome to be nice and useful. I spend a lot of time on chrome reading Balboni so in the end I'm getting to see lots of new German words. Cons: There are one or two features missing which i think would be really nice so I only gave 4 stars. I got in touch with the developers to tell them this and they said there are some new features coming - so this was great to hear.

I thought the Weeve app was great but this is much better. I am choosing what I want to read and learning Spanish too. Brilliant, no effort required. No problem fitting learning Spanish into my day.

This is the extension for language learning for me. Just really helped me build up my Spanish, and did it in a way that I barely noticed. Could never stand learning grammar from a book or sitting in a claoom for hours repeating words, and thought I was "bad at languages" but it turns out I've just been learning the wrong way this whole time

Wow, the ultimate passive learning tool, it's actually so good, literally just browsing the internet, shopping, reading random articles etc doing what we all do on the internet and I'm able to pick up so many Spanish words just from context. I really love it cos i feel like i actually remember the words much better for some reason! Cant wait to see what's next!

I'm loving the Weeve extension, As someone who loves to learn new words in multiple languages, the basic level is fabulous. I'm particularly loving Weeve as I scroll LinkedIn. Once I get more proficient in Spanish I am going to keep shifting that Translation Frequency level up

Such a useful tool to add to your language learning journey. It will help you learn the most common words alongside words in topics you are interested in which gives it a clear advantage over traditionally organised language learning books which tend to go topic by topic rather than common to uncommon.

Iontach! As an American, it's incredibly difficult to find quality Irish learning resources, especially when it comes to pronunciation. This tool is a game-changer. It allows me to incorporate Irish into my daily routine, and I only need to click on the word to hear how it's pronounced.

This is hands down the best way to learn a language. You literally learn passively as you browse content you love on the internet. No lessons needed. I absolutely love this, and cannot wait to see it grow :)
