displays the current address of the url bar as a qrcode for easy sharing between devices with a qrcode scanner like mobile/smart phones and tablets. Also allows saving the qrcode image and copying it into the clipboard for pasting in other programms

displays the current address of the url bar as a qrcode for easy sharing between devices with a qrcode scanner like mobile/smart phones and tablets. Also allows saving the qrcode image and copying it into the clipboard for pasting in other programms

Usage:

1. Open any real url (no firefox internal pages e.g. about:config, newtab, addons,… )
2. Click on the pageAction icon on the right side of the url bar
3. Scan the QRCode from the Popup window below the icon.
   or use the Save button to download the qr code as an image
   If you granted the addon the optional clipboardWrite permission, you can also use the Copy button to copy the image into the clipboard to directly paste it into other programms.

Notes:

1. Permissions:
   • activeTab, to read the tab url
   • clipboardWrite (optional) , to copy the qrcode image into the clipboard

   This add-on tries to use the minimal number of required permissions to successfully fullfill its intended purpose.
   If you think this could be improved please let me know by opening an issue and i will look into it.
