David. Thanks for the feedback! We actually do have a setting you can use to change the default behavior to default to off! You can find the setting by going to settings from the extension's popup menu. Great extension for all the reasons listed, so thank you. However, I would love it so much more (and not be tempted to delete it) if I could choose the default to be set to "off" instead of "on," as I only want to transcribe 10% of my video calls (and for those it's amazing) vs. the endless pile of Google Docs I am creating because I forget to turn it off. In short, you don't need a Google doc transcription of your call with your mom.
