Randomize your Slides to change things up when studying, or just for fun. You can quickly shuffle your entire deck (± first slide) in a few seconds.
There are times when you want your slides to be in a random order. A great option when studying for a test or when you want to change up a claoom presentation. OTT-o-matic Slide Randomizer is a simple add-on that allows the user to easily and randomly reorder any slide deck. When used, the presentation will be quickly and efficiently randomized.
Users can choose to randomize all slides or pairs of slides. Most keep the first page un-randomized to allow for a stationary title slide. OTT-o does all this in one step, so you can easy to undo the process, visit the version history to access the original version or subsequent version, or simply run Slides Randomizer again for another look.
Slides Randomizer has two automatic methods:
1) Randomize whenever the file is opened. This method requires the Slides to fully open and for the option to be processed making it a little slow for many users
2) Alternatively, users can automatically randomize daily for 30-days using a trigger.
Both of the automatic randomization methods can be canceled within the menus for each option
Ehh, I agree with Hilton and it does not really have a purpose. I also gave it only 1 stars because after I tried to randomize, it deleted some of my stuff and I really did not like that I had to redo some of my stuff. It really is just burning garbage. I hope it gets deleted quickly before it takes over the world and reins terror over us.

I would like it to continue to randomize the slides every time I open the presentation without me having to click for it to randomize.

I’m the same, every time a student opens a flash card presentation, I want it to automatically randomly shuffle without them needing to do it, but it’s not working... Can the software engineers maybe fix this problem at Google?

I wasn't able to get the automated randomization to work quite as I wanted it to, but it is probably user error on my part. Explicitly randomizing it by going to Add-ons->slide randomizer->randomize presentation worked like a champ, though.

This doesn't work perfectly, but it does randomize faster than I could do so manually. It's also easy to use. One problem: mine disappeared. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but it's still not listed with my add-ons. Have you any idea what happened?

It stopped working for me. I even uninstalled and then reinstalled. Very frustrating because it's a great feature!

Hello, The randomization does not happen in presentation mode, it happens in edit mode (and you must be the owner or editor of the file). If you want student to experience randomized slide decks, then they need to have their own copy and can then randomize at will.

Was able to install it and it says it will be randomized every time it's opened. However, in presentation mode, the first slide appears and it plays in order. Also, when embedded on my Google Site, the first slide appears and it plays in order. Very frustrated. Hoping to find a solution because this is for my behavior management system 😬

the 1/20/20 update doesn't work. Everytime, I have to start the add-on, and then choose "randomize" or automatic randomization (nothing changes)
